What it does
Job portals, university applications and online ID services often cap photos at 50 KB. That’s enough for a clear portrait at a typical upload size. Add your image and get a JPG under 50 KB in seconds.
How to use it
- Click “Choose images”, drop one or more images onto the box, or paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac).
- Each image is brought under 50 KB. If lowering the quality isn’t enough, it’s also scaled down, and a note tells you the new size.
- Check the final size next to the download button, then download the file or get everything as a ZIP.
Common uses
- Job portal and recruitment site photos
- University and scholarship applications
- Online ID and permit applications
Tips
- If the form asks for a range such as 20–50 KB, check the result isn’t below the minimum.
- Natural light from a window gives a cleaner photo, which also compresses better.
