What it does
Some online forms only accept tiny files, often 10 KB or less for a scanned signature or thumbprint. Drop your image here and it will be brought under 10 KB, scaled down if lowering the quality isn’t enough.
How to use it
- Click “Choose images”, drop one or more images onto the box, or paste with Ctrl+V (⌘+V on a Mac).
- Each image is brought under 10 KB. If lowering the quality isn’t enough, it’s also scaled down, and a note tells you the new size.
- Check the final size next to the download button, then download the file or get everything as a ZIP.
Common uses
- Scanned signatures for government and exam forms
- Thumbprint or initials uploads
- Tiny thumbnails for systems with strict storage limits
Tips
- Crop tightly around the signature before compressing.
- Use black ink on white paper: high contrast compresses far better than grey pencil.
