What it does
Instagram shows feed photos up to 1080 pixels wide and crops anything outside the shapes it supports. Pick square, portrait or landscape, frame your photo, and download it at exactly the size Instagram uses, so nothing gets cut off unexpectedly.
How to use it
- Pick a size: Square (1080 × 1080), 4:5 (1080 × 1350), 3:4 (1080 × 1440), Landscape (1080 × 566).
- Choose your image, then drag the box to frame the part you want to show.
- Click “Create image” and download it at exactly the size shown.
Common uses
- Posting photos without Instagram cutting off heads or edges
- Carousel posts where every slide has the same shape
- Turning landscape photos into tall portrait posts that take up more of the feed
Tips
- Export at exactly 1080 pixels wide so Instagram doesn’t resize your photo again.
- Keep important text away from the edges, because the profile grid shows a cropped preview.
